The peaceful city of Blaine is located 12 miles north of downtown Minneapolis and 20 miles from St Paul. Blaine is the 12th largest city in Minnesota and has a population of around 60,000 residents. There are three high schools: Blaine High School, Centennial High School and Paladin Career and Technical High School. Easy access to downtown Minneapolis, along Interstate 35W and Highways 10 and 65, and the good number of high schools, makes it a popular place for families.
Blaine has four major lakes partially or within its city limits: Sunrise Lake, Laddie Lake, Club West Lake and Loch Ness Lake. There’s also an extensive Park and Trail System with 65 parks and over 50 miles of trails encompassing 638 acres of land for Blaine residents to enjoy.

Blaine has a bit of everything to offer house hunters. You can find older single story family homes built in the 1960’s. Many of these will feature recent updates, such as remodeled kitchens and bathrooms, and 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. These range in price from $200k-$300k.
Then there are newer two story family homes built in the 1990’s, and the new constructions. These are larger homes featuring 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, exercise rooms, spacious kitchens with walk-in pantries and home offices. His and hers closets and ensuite bathrooms are also usually found in newer style residential homes. These range in price from $400k-$600k.

Local Flavor
The business district 50th and France is a favorite hotspot for good eats and late-night drinks, and to experience all that Edina has to offer: Latin cuisine at Cocina del Barrio, local beers at Coalition, and a comfortable, friendly environment at Edina Grill, to name a few. But the best way to get to know Edina is to visit the city yourself!
