Nationally recognized as one of the best places to live, Plymouth is an ever-expanding suburb whose real estate attracts many growing families and new businesses. Its public school district, Wayzata, is one of the best in the metro. Though Plymouth is only 12 miles outside of Minneapolis, there is plenty of open land and vast lakes that provide residents with never-ending outdoor adventures.
Home Styles in Plymouth
Traditional ranch-style and two-story homes are available in the southern and central parts of Plymouth. These single-family homes, built between the 40s all the way through the 90s, range from $450,000–$700,000. They typically have four bedrooms and two baths, and large windows provide fantastic views of the nature in residents’ own backyards.
For newer homes and neighborhoods, families typically seek real estate in northern Plymouth. Two-story, custom-built homes are available with five bedrooms and five baths. These homes feel even more spacious with their high ceilings, and many include screened-in porches, so you can comfortably sit outside most of the year.
